KommunikationsCentret ApS is a Danish company based in
Copenhagen and founded in 1990 as a modern and dynamic media
institute, aiming at producing compelling Radio and TV programs
in Denmark .
Today it is known under the name of ”KOMC”, The Communications
Group.
Since its inception, KOMC worked in all aspects of Radio and TV,
from concept development and production, to final broadcasting,
leading the way to become one of the fastest growing media
institutes in Denmark . KOMC is also engaged in providing media
training in the form of short term courses and practicing talent
for young and ambitious journalists.
Our vision is based on fostering the new media age and paving
the way for a solid growth ultimately by working across
professional ethics and the main trends of democratic freedom of
speech. Today KOMC produces 16,000 hours of Radio and 900 hours
of TV per year for a target audience of approx one million
people.
We develop, organize and produce commercials, corporate clips,
documentary programs, news reports, and talk shows. Our
production is characterized by versatility, flexibility and a
close cooperation with clients and partners alike. We take on
different tasks serving the small, medium, and large enterprises
geared by accelerating the quality of our service to satisfy our
niche market.
Since 1998, KOMC understood the potential prospects of streaming
media on the internet and took the initiative to develop the
concept and became a front leader in experimenting and
disseminating information in a multitude of forms through the
internet, emphasizing on Web-TV, open public access, advanced
technology, and transformational skills.
Stretching over a 600 m² facility in the heart of Copenhagen, of
which 120 m² is a television studio equipped with the most
sophisticated tools and high-end digital equipments, and an area
of 110 m² divided into radio studios, KOMC accommodates a staff
consisting of a number of professional journalists, media
activists, and technical experts striving together to create an
outstanding impact on the new media era.
We produce particular programs under different themes covering
issues related to community, European affairs, as well as local
and international news.
KOMC, as a facility house, provides services for different
international media institutes and news agencies interested in
operating temporarily in Denmark for the purpose of covering
specific events, or using the available transmission feeds of
video, audio, and news relay hereby supplied in-house.
